PERFORMING ARTS
GWIS encourages pupils’ participation in Performing Arts. Excellent guidance and mentoring is provided for students to nurture the talents.
Various activities like Music Dance and Drama are conducted as a part of the structured learning programme.
The objectives help the children to
- Promote mental and emotional well being
- Nurture creativity
- Develop inherent abilities of self-expression
- Appreciate and develop aesthetic sensitivity towards the performing arts
VISUAL ARTS
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Pablo Picasso.
Workshops, excursions, hands on practical experience and hosting arts festivals complement visual arts at GWIS. Pupils get to explore and express their creativity through varied forms of art such as painting, pottery, clay modeling, crafts, etc. Grooming under mentors and expert visits will give students unparallel boost to go deeper into the subject and polish their skills.
